Insurance Coverage & Benefits

I work as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and am a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). If you have Extended Health Benefits that cover services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor, you will be eligible for partial or full reimbursement of a designated number of sessions, based on your coverage. If you are unsure of your coverage, check with your benefits / insurance provider to ask about your coverage for counselling services with an RCC.

I provide clients with a receipt for each session, that includes my BCACC registration number. You will need to submit your receipt to your provider for reimbursement, as I am not able to do direct billing.

Cancellations

As a counsellor, I hold your booked session times in my schedule, such that those slots are not available for another client to receive services. If, for any reason, you need to cancel your session, please let me know 24 hours or more before your session time. Missed sessions or sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate. Do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions about this.

Fees & Payments

Sessions are 55 minutes in length, and each session is $150, including GST. This rate is the same for both individual and couples counselling. Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card.
